About SHF

Shared Humanity Foundation – (SHF) is a registered non-partisan, non-religious, non-profit and non-governmental organization committed to addressing community based challenges in environment, hygiene and poverty.

Established in 2017, SHF has worked for the education of rural and urban communities on climate change, felling of trees, health promotion, disease prevention and control, WASH, child abuse prevention, participatory development and social intervention.

Over 2000 persons and 5 communities have benefitted from our environmental community engagement, medical outreaches and social interventions. We believe in the power of TEAMWORK; Together Everyone Achieves More.

To empower individuals and communities to take ownership in proffering sustainable solution to challenges in environment, improve their health and end extreme poverty.

OUR VISION

To see the most vulnerable individuals and communities live a healthy lifestyle and empowered to lift themselves out of extreme poverty.

OUR APPROACH
SHF takes the following strategies to reach its VISION.

•EDUCATION - SHF educate individuals and communities with practical approach to addressing community based challenges.

•SENSITIZATION - SHF uses various sensitization strategies to raise awareness.

•TRAINING - SHF provides training opportunity in community engagement and development and skill acquisition program to young people and middle ages.

•MENTORING - SHF provides a platform for practical mentoring opportunities for young and middle aged people for sustainability.

•ADVOCACY - SHF influence individuals and communities to offer support and advocate for the right of children and youths to good life.
