Documentation Centre
The documentation centre was created with the intention to further the dissemination of knowledge about gross human rights violations (and the laws pertaining to gross violations) by providing access to relevant documents and treaties. As with other sections of the site, the documentation centre will continue to grow in order to become a more complete source for these kinds of materials.
Geneva Conventions and Additional Protocols - the Geneva Conventions are the bedrock of international humanitarian law. The conventions set out fundamental rules of war that are extremely important both for the maintenance of global human rights and for the protection of the rights of soldiers in combat.
International Human Rights Conventions - There are numerous international conventions dealing with human rights. We have included a couple of the conventions that are the most relevant for our mission to work towards the elimination of gross human rights violations.
International Courts and Tribunals - The foundation documents of all of the international (and hybrid) criminal courts are included here. The Milosevic indictments are also included as a matter of historical record. Lastly, the recent judgement of the International Court of Justice in the Bosnian genocide case is available.
